So delicious! I have been looking forward to this new restaurant opening for a while, and it is as good as expected. We tried their signature Cubano, which had tender, flavorful meat on perfectly toasted bread. My husband got a spicy chicken sandwich which hit the spot as well.
The two of us were stuffed for a very reasonable $22. Anyone and everyone should come out and give this place a try. I am already trying to decide what I am going to get next time. The cubano? The daily tacos? Or maybe their black bean burger with the avocado crema.
El Camino was awesome! We stopped by for lunch today and got the tostadas, a jerk chicken empanada, and the Cuban sandwich. All were fantastic. Everyone was super friendly, too!
This place is AMAZING! I went on a Wednesday night and the service was fabulous. They were very helpful explaining the menu and the food is obviously made fresh but comes out quickly. I highly recommend the Cubano sandwich, one of their signature dishes, flan and molten chocolate cake.
Great great service. Came on a Thursday night. Somehow found parking easily. Thought my luck would run out then but when I walked in I was treated like an old friend. It was my first time here and I didn't really know what to order but they were very patient and walked me through what would fit my tastes. Ended up with the Tripleta and Mac and cheese. My wife got the queso blanco, Cubano, and fries. It was all so good!
My overall experience with El Camino was top notch. I don't have much history with the Latin food scene so I played it safe by getting the Cubano. I did have a recent Cuban experience at Cuban Pete's downtown not to long ago, so This was not my first time having a Cuban. Let's just say El Camino stole the show.
Te Amo El Camino!!! Amigos let me tell you this is the best food I have had in a long time in Cincinnati. Got the email today from my Amiga letting me know that the grand opening was yesterday. I have been here in Cincinnati for 28 years and have always been one of the only Puerto Ricans here so happy you decided to open and make the best food in the planet!!! Gracias and Wepa!!!
